Whiskey n’ Ink

Creating and drawing fantasy maps and illustrations is what I do. I love taking a small kernel of an idea and building it up, layer by layer, until it is as believable and life-like as it can be. When I can look at something I’ve drawn, and can see the lives and spirits of the people that live there, I know I’ve done my job.

My name is Fred Kroner, and I live in the beautiful state of Wisconsin with my wife and our crazy cat. My kids are all older now, but I feel blessed that they still love to play roleplaying games with me, even when their generation has so many other distractions.

I’ve been playing RPG’s since the late 70’s, and I have always loved to take on the role of Game Master. To me, drawing the maps, and writing the stories behind the maps, was always the best part of the game by far.

Hopefully you’ll give me the opportunity to draw out your world that you have spent so much time and energy creating. I know how emotionally attached a person can be to the world they are creating, and so I promise to take the same amount of care with your maps and illustrations.
